Every child-care center will receive a Star Behavior Management Strategy-Discipline Package,  and a Transition Tool Kit, plus a package of clock hour certificates for attending staff only and instructions on how tasks are to be completed as a group under the supervision of your child-care center director.

 "Positive Discipline Techniques"        Participants will learn and practice how to speak to children in a firm positive tone positive as well as the importance of a discipline system.

"Child Abuse Awareness" 

Participants will learn the types of abuse, typical traits of an abuse child, why child abuse happens, and how to make a report.  

"Conflict Resolution & Positive Guidance"

Participants will learn how to use conflict resolution with children and how to provide positive guidance.

 

"Parachute Play" 

Participants will learn how to use a parachute, play parachute games and use music.

 "Indoor & Outdoor Cooperative Games"  Participants will learn cooperative games to play with children in both indoor and outdoor environments.

 "Crisis Management"                              Participants will learn how to handle a crisis situation, how to conduct yourself during a crisis and the importance of being prepared for the unexpected, and how to develop a procedure book for future reference.

"Storytelling Techniques & Activities" 

Participants will learn and practice how to speak when reading a book to children or doing finger plays with children, as well as activities to tie in a story.

"Effective Supervision"

Participants will learn the importance of supervising children everywhere throughout the day. 

"(Baby) Signing With Children" 

Participants will learn how to use (baby) signing with children and the importance of this communication.

 

"Directors Only Workshop"

This FUN! and informative workshop provides 40 clock hours of training for the child-care center director!

Every child-care center director will receive their clock hour certificates 

and instructions on how tasks are to be completed.

"Business Professional"

Directors will be refreshed on the proper conduct and etiquette of being a business professional,                         organizational skills, as well as accessing available resources for extended staff training.

"ImmTrac Of Texas" 

Directors will learn how to sign up for ImmTrac of Texas and how to use it. 

"Defusing An Angry Parent" 

Directors will learn how to defuse an angry parent and the procedures in handling and resolving conflict.  

"Fundraiser Ideas"

Directors will receive a Fundraising Formula and resources enabling employers to give employee raises, make child-care center improvements or staff recognition and appreciation. 

"Staff Motivation" 

Directors will learn the importance of staff motivation to help prevent burn-out and decrease staff turn-over.


"Directors Only Workshop II"

This FUN! and informative workshop provides 40 clock hours of training for the child-care center director and administration staff! Every child-care center director will receive their clock hour certificates  

and instructions on how tasks are to be completed. 

"Business Professional Improvement"

Directors will be refreshed on the proper conduct and etiquette of being a business professional,               how to develop the skills to improve and be the best director you can be. 

"Technology & Social Media"

Directors will learn how to use the technology apps and programs available that may benefit the child-care center. Then social media (FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram  etc.) do's and don'ts.

"How To Deal With Difficult Employees"

Directors will receive valuable information on how to deal with all kinds of difficult employees.

"Absolute Customer Service"

Directors will be learn the importance of parent-    staff communication how to expand on this to     provide the absolute best customer service.

"Staff Development, Motivation &              Team Building"

Directors will learn the importance of developing staff and motivating them to help improve their skills, prevent burn-out and decrease staff turn-over. Directors will also learn how to use the leadership skills to encourage staff on working together as a team for the best outcome of the child-care center's and staff goals.
